On September 23, NMV USA hosted an event at Lake Arlington Church called RECONCILE. It was a panel discussion answering questions about Racism, Abuse and Bullying. The panel was comprised of Dr. Eric Herrstrom, Host and Lead Pastor of Lake Arlington Baptist Church; Will D. Johnson, Chief of Arlington, Texas Police Department; Dr. Lanelle Pickett, Pastor Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church; Dr. Richard Harris, Associate Pastor Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church & Former Top Ranking KKK Leader; David Balyeat President & Founder of No More Violence International.
The event brought the opportunity to dialogue about issues that create division and hardship in our communities.
Each of the participants offered perspectives that collectively established that the hope for each community is to value others as more important than one self. To speak positive things about others and seek out opportunities to assist others. Relationships are a foundation on which we can have stronger neighborhoods.
