At the invitation of Roger Barnes, Coach at the school, David Balyeat spoke to five groups of students about practical ways to avoid violence and be a promoter of non-violence at home and at school. Coach Barnes is a former soccer player at Dallas Baptist University where he played under the direction of then Coach Balyeat.
The students were attentive and responsive. The interaction provided the opportunity to share how a God centered life is one that has meaning and purpose and answers for the difficult questions that life can ask.
