In the next several days, three soccer games will be played, during which we would like to promote peace. I understand the traditions of soccer and the rivalry that comes from within. I do not understand that someone should suffer or even die in a sporting event. May we have a far reach with the message of peace to the darkest corners of violence to break violent customs and traditions.
Friendship does not mean that we think alike about everything. It is sharing experiences and respecting each other’s opinions. It is necessary to forgive and be forgiven in order to live a new reality. By forgiving we can go beyond the past to have a better future.
