With the intention of establishing a relationship and planning future partnerships, on July 28, 2022, the Volunteers of No More Violence Costa Rica held a meeting with the Mayor’s Office of San José de Montes de Oca. Our organization was received by the Vice Mayor Architect Nathalie Artivia Chavarría, who welcomed the peace proposals and the possibility of strengthening ties with the No More Violence Organization in this country.
The District of San José de Montes de Oca is characterized by being a community made up mostly of young people, since it has the particularity of being a city where a large number of university students reside.
In this meeting, it was established that both institutions will continue to meet to coordinate joint actions with a view to the peace of the city.
